"StageSpot Gives Back to a Family in need in Maryland!"

StageSpot was asked to help Extreme Makeover: Home Edition build the Jackson family of Poolsville, Maryland, a dream home. We were excited with the opportunity and shipped our entire company to Maryland to help with the build. With donations of equipment from us and our manufacturers, we helped build a dream stage in a bedroom for four girls of a family of 18. The girls love step dancing, so our task was to build a stage with professional lighting, fog, mirror ball, and more. Stagespot worked very hard to make this stage / bedroomroom perfect for the four of the girls. These step dancing girls now have a place to let there talent shine in their very own home. This stage is complete with everything you find on a professions dance stage, complete with moving lights and much more.

Each episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is self-contained and features a race against time on a project that would ordinarily take months, involving a team of designers, contractors and several hundred volunteers who have just seven days (106 hours for the actual construction) to rebuild an entire house or even have their home demolished and rebuilt from the ground up.

The episode begins with team leader/carpenter Ty Pennington's “Good morning!” wake-up call, when he and the design team — Paul DiMeo, Paige Hemmis, Michael Moloney, Ed Sanders, Tanya McQueen, Didi Snyder and Eduardo Xol — surprise the unsuspecting family that their home has been chosen to receive a makeover.

Viewers witness the unbelievable transformation of the house and, during the final and emotional reveal, the impact it has on the lives of the deserving family. The show earned an Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program in 2006
