How do gobos work? With a gobo light of course!
Gobos are simply a stencil for your light. Think of it as an extra fancy slide used in projection. We’re going to breakdown how gobo projectors work with a few pictures and hopefully make it all clear.
Gobo Projector { containing lamp + gobo }
To start with you need a gobo projector. Not just any light will do, a light source that can accept a gobo between the light source (also known as lamp or light bulb) and the lens used for focusing.
