This spooky yard doesn’t need much help. For the rest of us, there are tips below. Photo by Suzi Duke – CC BY-SA 2.0
Fog – Goblins, ghosts and ghouls love hazy atmospheres. It makes them feel more at home. If you’re concerned about space, the Rosco Mini-V is a compact mini fogger that can be tucked away unobtrusively to provide the right kind of eerie atmosphere. If you’re more concerned about using a better for the environment fog juice, check out CITC’s Aquamax, it uses organic water based fluid for some incredible fog.
Specialtylighting – One of our new favorites are Darklight gobo projectors. These tiny fixtures pack a big impact. The smallest gobo projector that we know of is also wallet friendly and incredibly easy to use and move around. Imagine projecting a sinister cloud gobo on your haunted house or a witch riding a broomstick onto your garage. These fixtures can help make that spooky nightmare a reality.
Glow tape and paint can be used with or without black lights to add extra special features to any haunted yard. We especially like glowing eyes peeking out around corners.
