CMI began making pulleys quite simply, with the introduction of just four 2 3/8" rescue pulleys to the market in 1982. They quickly became known the world over for their strength, durability and flexibility.
Whether you need a pulley for casual top-roping or long hauls, everyday confined space entry or "film at 11" rescues, or any of the variety of applications created by the blossoming ropes course industry, CMI has a pulley designed with your exact need and requirements in mind.
Available with stainless steel sideplates and either an aluminum or steel sheave, with bearing or bushing, this latest addition to our product line finds many applications. The aluminum sheave models are ideal in rescue situations for use with rope.
By using the extra rigging hole at the bottom of the pulley, they can be daisy chained together in block and tackle fashion or the lower hole can be used to direct the load. Steel sheave models are outstanding for use with steel cable. In high line situations the extra hole can be clipped together for an extra margin of safety.
