The StageJunk XLR, DMX, & Ethercon ReRounding Tool / Jig quickly fixes one of the most annoying problems with XLR style connections. Ever tried to plug an XLR cable into a snake, or a DMX cable into a fixture and the connector housing is bent on the cable? This jig allows you to get that connector housing to be nice and round and useable.  

• Step 1:
  • Yell arrrgggh when you find a bent connector housing
• Step 2:
  • Go Ah-HA! when you remember you had the foresight to buy this tool, then go find it at the bottom of your toolbag.  (it's made of a very durable stainless steel)
• Step 3:
  • Carefully insert the hollowed out end into the housing, making sure that you keep the pins / connections inside the hollowed out area.
• Step 4:
  • Take a Deep Breathe and carefully push the ReRounding tool into the damaged housing till either:
    A) The tip of the housing reaches the Red Ring on the tool, or
    B) You can't push anymore.  Then you reach for a mallet or small hammer and carefully tap the tool until the edge of the housing reaches the red ring. 
• Step 5:
  • Laugh Maniacally in Triumph as you plug in that cable and enjoy that little dopamine hit as your brain goes brrrr when the cable clicks in so nicely.
